From the first morning you treat live models, supervised, in a working clinic. Theory grounds you. Repetition cements technique. By the time your certificate is issued, you have already done the work on real faces.
Many of our graduates work part-time and out-earn full-time roles in beauty. Move the sliders to see what your take-home could look like.
Based on 50 working weeks. Top practitioners in North London exceed £400,000 per year.
Most training academies are training-only. DermaSense is a working aesthetics clinic in North London that also trains the next generation. When you train with us, you are learning inside a real practice, on real models, alongside practitioners who treat clients the rest of the week.
Experienced aesthetic practitioners, nurses, and doctors on site to guide, support, and mentor you throughout the course.
You train inside a practice that sees clients every day. Standards, pace, and decisions are set by what actually works in front of a real patient.
Theory matters, but technique only sticks with practice. You will treat real models under supervision, not mannequins or pieces of foam.
Personalised attention beats packed lecture halls. We cap class sizes so every student gets time with the trainer and time with the model.
Your certificate is the beginning, not the end. Our students get continued mentorship, technique check-ins, and access to the clinical team for 6 months after the course ends.
Most of our students are working professionals. We schedule cohorts to fit around your shifts, your clinic, or your day job.
15 Station Parade, Cockfosters. A working aesthetics clinic that runs five days a week, with the academy built inside it. You learn surrounded by the team, the kit and the standards we hold ourselves to.

Verified reviews from DermaSense Academy graduates who now treat their own paying clients across London and the South East.
"I did the Pathway to Aesthetics fast track with zero experience. Eight weeks after qualifying I'd covered the £2,500 course fee in booked clients. The 12-month payment plan meant I never had to touch my savings."
"I'd tried a one-day filler course elsewhere and left more confused than when I started. The DermaSense Foundation Dermal Fillers course made lips click for me. Live models from the first morning. I now do 4 to 6 sets of lips a week from my studio."
"The Foundation Anti-Wrinkle course was so much more than a certificate. Muscle-mapping was drilled in until I could see it without thinking. My first paying client booked me for the whole family after their result."
"Six years injecting and I still learned three new mid-face approaches on the Advanced Dermal Filler course. Small class, one-on-one time with a real practitioner, no fluff. Worth every penny of the £1,400."
"The 6 months of mentorship is the reason I stayed calm when I saw my first bruising the wrong colour. WhatsApp'd the clinical team, got a straight answer in 20 minutes, client reassured, career intact. No other academy does this."
"Added the Dermaplaning & Microneedling course to my existing beauty room. Six weeks in it's brought in an extra £1,400 a month with the same clients I already had. Best £500 I've spent on my business."
Issued on completion, accepted by UK insurance providers and recognised by employers and clients.

CPD training is focused, treatment-specific education that can be completed over a shorter period and is well suited to practitioners who already meet the relevant prerequisites for a particular treatment. VTCT Skills qualifications are formally assessed, regulated programmes ranging from Level 3 through to Level 7, with defined theoretical learning, practical competency and assessment components. Our team can advise which route best matches your existing experience and career goals.
Entry requirements vary by course and qualification level. Foundation CPD courses and the Ultimate Beginner Fast Track are typically open to learners without prior aesthetic experience. Advanced CPD and all VTCT Skills Level 5, 6 and 7 courses require verifiable prior qualifications and, in most cases, existing clinical or aesthetic practice. A formal eligibility assessment is completed for every applicant prior to enrolment.
The VTCT Skills Level 7 Certificate and Diploma in Non-Surgical Aesthetic Injectable Procedures are advanced qualifications with strict entry criteria. Typical minimum requirements include registration on a healthcare regulator register such as the NMC, GMC, GDC, GPhC or HCPC (or equivalent qualification pathway), together with prior anatomy and physiology and injectables experience. Completion of a Level 7 qualification does not automatically grant eligibility to practise every procedure independently, obtain insurance, prescribe medicines, or meet future licensing requirements. Our team will confirm your individual eligibility before you enrol.
Botulinum toxin is a prescription-only medicine in the UK. Its prescribing, supply and administration must follow applicable UK legislation and the professional standards of the relevant regulator. Non-prescribing practitioners typically work in a documented, face-to-face prescribing model with a suitably qualified independent prescriber. We cover legal, professional and safe-practice frameworks throughout our Level 7 programme.
On successful completion of a CPD course, learners receive a dated DermaSense Academy CPD completion certificate for the training completed. VTCT Skills qualifications are issued by VTCT (Skills) as a nationally recognised, regulated qualification against the requirements of the individual programme. Certification is provided to the awarding-body specification and typical timelines.
Our CPD certificates and VTCT Skills qualifications are widely accepted by UK aesthetics insurance providers. Insurance eligibility remains a decision of the individual insurer based on your overall qualifications, prior experience, prescribing arrangements and scope of practice. We recommend confirming insurance eligibility with your chosen provider before commencing paid client work.
Classes are deliberately kept small so that every learner receives adequate live-model treatment time and one-to-one supervision. Practical sessions run in small groups with qualified practitioner trainers overseeing every procedure. Specific ratios are shared in the course specification during enrolment.
CPD courses range from one-day intensives to multi-day pathways depending on the modules selected. VTCT Skills qualifications from Level 3 to Level 7 are broader programmes and typically span several days of taught content, followed by portfolio work, case studies and formal assessment. Detailed duration and assessment schedules are provided in the course specification for each programme.
Yes. For courses over £500, 12 months 0% interest-free payment plans are available through our regulated finance partner PayItMonthly. Applications are subject to status and eligibility criteria. Deposit and payment structures are confirmed at the point of enrolment.
Practical training takes place on live models. Model access is coordinated by DermaSense Academy where required so that learners receive the treatment volume necessary to demonstrate competency. All models complete a documented consultation and consent process consistent with our clinical standards.
Yes. Learners may combine CPD modules or step through the VTCT Skills Level 3 to Level 7 pathway according to their goals, existing qualifications and available time. Our Complete Aesthetics Career Package bundles Level 3 through Level 5 as a single guided route. Bespoke pathways are quoted individually.
