Tattooing

Specialist medical tattooing that blends scars, stretch marks and skin irregularities seamlessly into your natural skin tone. Performed by qualified practitioners in a safe clinical environment.

About the treatment

Concealing scars with precision and care

Scar camouflage tattooing is a highly specialised form of medical tattooing that uses carefully matched pigments to replicate the natural appearance of skin. Whether from surgery, injury, burns or stretch marks, this treatment restores confidence by making visible marks far less noticeable.

At DermaSense, each treatment begins with a detailed colour matching consultation to ensure the pigment selected is as close to your natural skin tone as possible. Results are long-lasting, natural and transformative.

Questions

Frequently asked

Is scar camouflage tattooing permanent?
The results are long-lasting but not entirely permanent. Over time the pigment may fade gradually, and a top-up session can maintain the result. Most clients enjoy their results for several years.
How long must I wait after surgery before treatment?
We recommend waiting at least 12 months after surgery to ensure the scar has fully matured. Treating immature scars can lead to unpredictable results. Your practitioner will assess suitability at consultation.
Does the treatment hurt?
A topical anaesthetic is applied before treatment to minimise discomfort. Most clients describe the sensation as mild. The level of sensitivity varies depending on the area being treated.
How many sessions will I need?
Most clients require one to three sessions depending on the size, depth and colouration of the scar. Your practitioner will give a realistic expectation during your consultation.
