Part 1: Online theory (52 chapters)

Microneedling: Collagen Induction Therapy.

The definitive training programme for collagen induction therapy. Built for qualified skin specialists, this course gives you the anatomical knowledge, infection control protocols and clinical confidence needed to perform highly effective microneedling treatments safely.

We go deep on the wound-healing cascade, tissue remodelling and safe depth control, so you finish with a true clinical grasp of device-led skin rejuvenation, not a checklist you have memorised.

Who can enrol

Because microneedling is an invasive, trauma-based treatment, we enforce strict entry requirements to protect both you and your future clients. To enrol you must hold one of the following:

• Level 3 Beauty Therapy (with Basic Life Support certification and Anatomy and Physiology Level 3).
• Medical professional (Registered Nurse, Doctor, Dentist, or equivalent).
• SPMU artist with 12+ months of documented clinical experience.

How the course runs

Part 1: Online theory (39 chapters)

• Clinical anatomy and physiology: a deep look at the dermal layers, the wound-healing cascade, and the biology of collagen and elastin.
• Health, safety and bloodborne pathogens: infection control, needlestick injury management, and legal sharps disposal.
• Technical knowledge: device mastery, exact needle-depth selection, correct cartridge usage, and safe serum infusion.
• Consultation and compliance: identifying absolute contraindications, local council licensing law, and ethical treatment planning.

Part 2: In-clinic practical day (10:00 AM to 3:30 PM)

• Phased practice: you start with device handling, depth adjustments, and the glide vs stamp technique on simulation skin, before completing a full supervised treatment on a live model.
• Clinical endpoints: you learn to identify safe endpoints such as uniform erythema, so you stop before unnecessary trauma or track-mark scarring.
• Sterile field management: we focus heavily on keeping the workspace sterile throughout the procedure.

Why the prerequisites are strict

Education creates safety. Microneedling intentionally breaches the skin's protective barrier and interacts with the reticular dermis and blood supply. Fast-tracking under-qualified students into invasive aesthetics leads to severe complications, secondary infections and permanent scarring. You need a real, existing grasp of anatomy and emergency life support before we can hand you the device.

Intermediate Course | Prerequisites Apply

Dermaplaning: Clinical exfoliation.

The clinical exfoliation training your skin services have been missing. Dermaplaning is one of the most requested, highest-margin facials on the menu. This course gives you the anatomy, safety protocols and hands-on confidence to perform it flawlessly using a surgical scalpel.

We focus heavily on blade control, skin tension and add-on protocols, so you finish ready to charge premium for a treatment clients will rebook every four to six weeks.

Who can enrol

Because dermaplaning uses a surgical scalpel to mechanically exfoliate the skin, entry requirements exist to protect you and your clients. You must hold one of the following:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Beauty Therapy (with Anatomy and Physiology Level 3 and Basic Life Support).
• Medical professional (Registered Nurse, Doctor, Dentist, or equivalent).
• SPMU artist with documented clinical experience.
• Or you can take it as part of our fast-track Ultimate Beginners pathway.

Part 1: Online theory

• Clinical anatomy and physiology: a deep look at the epidermal layers, the hair growth cycle, and the difference between vellus and terminal hair.
• Health, safety and bloodborne pathogens: infection control, sharps-injury management, and legal scalpel disposal.
• Technical knowledge: blade mastery (using #10 and #10R blades), holding the exact 45-degree angle, and the vital C-grip for skin tension.
• Consultation and compliance: spotting absolute contraindications (such as active acne), managing client expectations, and safe post-treatment product selection.

Part 2: In-clinic practical day (10:00 AM to 3:30 PM)

• Phased practice: you start with blade attachment and removal, drill the 45-degree angle on simulation objects like balloons or peaches, then perform a full supervised treatment on a live model.
• Skin tension and technique: we focus on safely navigating the complex contours of the face with perfect tension, so you avoid nicks or micro-tears.
