We use premium hyaluronic acid fillers including Juvederm, which can be dissolved if you are ever unhappy with your results. All treatments begin with a thorough consultation, and a 2-week review is available to assess your results and make any refinements needed.
Downtime is minimal. Most clients experience some mild swelling for 24 to 48 hours, after which results settle into their final shape.

Lip filler aftercare
Avoid pressing, massaging or applying pressure to your lips for at least 24 hours after treatment.
Do not wear heavy lip products including lip liner and lipstick for 24 hours.
Avoid hot drinks, spicy food, alcohol and strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
Stay hydrated and avoid extreme heat such as saunas, steam rooms and sunbeds for one week.
Mild swelling and bruising are normal and typically resolve within 24 to 72 hours.

How much do lip fillers cost at DermaSense?
Lip fillers at DermaSense start from £100 for classic lips (0.5ml). Fuller lips (1ml) are also £100. Russian lip technique is £220 for 1ml. Juvederm lip filler starts from £250 for 0.5ml and £325 for 1ml.
How long do lip fillers last?
Lip fillers typically last between 6 and 12 months depending on the product, area treated and your individual metabolism. Juvederm products tend to last towards the longer end of this range. A 2-week review and top-up is available for £55.
Does lip filler treatment hurt?
Most clients find the treatment comfortable. A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment and many of our fillers contain lidocaine, which further reduces discomfort during the procedure.
What is the difference between classic and Russian lip technique?
Classic lip filler adds smooth, even volume for a natural fuller appearance. The Russian technique uses a different injection method to lift and define the lip body, creating a heart-shaped contour with more projection. Your practitioner will recommend the most suitable technique for your lips and goals.
Can lip filler be dissolved if I am unhappy?
Yes. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved using hyaluronidase. At DermaSense, filler dissolving is available from £150 per area. We also welcome clients who have had filler placed elsewhere.
Is a consultation required before lip fillers?
Yes. All new clients are welcome to a complimentary initial consultation before any treatment. This allows your practitioner to assess your lips, understand your goals and recommend the most suitable technique and product.
