Fat dissolving injections work by breaking down the membrane of fat cells in the targeted area. The destroyed fat cells are then naturally processed and eliminated by the body over the following weeks.

How many sessions will I need?
Most clients require between 2 and 4 sessions per area, spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. Your practitioner will give a more personalised estimate during your consultation based on the area and amount of fat to be treated.
Is the treatment painful?
A local anaesthetic is used to minimise discomfort during treatment. Some clients experience burning, swelling and tenderness in the area for a few days afterwards. This is a normal part of the process as the body responds to the injections.
When will I see results?
Results develop gradually over 6 to 8 weeks as the body processes and eliminates the dissolved fat cells. Some clients notice visible changes after their first session, with the most significant results visible after completing a course of treatments.
Are results permanent?
Fat dissolving injections permanently destroy the treated fat cells. However maintaining a healthy lifestyle is important, as remaining fat cells can still enlarge with weight gain. Most clients enjoy long-lasting results with stable body weight.
