Level 7 entry requirements

The VTCT Skills Level 7 qualifications are advanced, with strict entry criteria. Typical minimum requirements include registration on a UK healthcare regulator register such as the NMC, GMC, GDC, GPhC or HCPC (or an equivalent qualification pathway), together with prior anatomy and physiology and injectables experience. Completing a Level 7 qualification does not automatically grant eligibility to practise every procedure independently, obtain insurance, prescribe medicines or meet future licensing requirements. Individual eligibility is confirmed before enrolment.

Not yet eligible? The VTCT Skills Level 3-7 Diploma takes you through the full regulated pathway from Level 3 foundations, and our CPD courses are open to learners with a medical qualification or NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy.

Prescribing: Botulinum toxin is a prescription-only medicine in the UK. Its prescribing, supply and administration must follow applicable UK legislation and the professional standards of the relevant regulator. Non-prescribing practitioners typically work in a documented, face-to-face prescribing model with a suitably qualified independent prescriber.
